Ann Elliott, Research Manager
Ann is our Research Manager and has worked in research for more than 20 years. She has a strong eye for detail and brings expertise in data management and organisation. Ann leads our data management work for all consultation analysis activity we undertake for the Scottish Government, involving a systematic and accountable approach to organising, coding and analysing data. Ann brings particular expertise in the process of managing, supporting and recording the informed consent process. She has excellent IT skills and is highly competent in the use of online survey tools such as Smart Survey and Survey Monkey. She regularly advises on survey development to ensure that information is gathered in a way that facilitates data analysis.
Ann is a highly skilled organiser and administrator and is responsible for leading fieldwork coordination within our team. She has vast experience of liaising with organisations to set up focus groups and interviews with key staff. She is excellent at supporting individuals and organisations to participate in research in an informed and positive manner. Ann has excellent people skills, and knows how to work with and support people to bring out the best in any situation.
