Telling your story of change

We specialise in impact focused evaluation. We know how to explore the change your project, programme or approach aimed to bring about, and what has changed for individuals, communities, society and organisations. We love talking about outcomes and impact. Tell us your story of change...

We have been commissioned by sportscotland to evaluate the work it supports in the schools and education, and clubs and communities environments. This is a large scale research project, and involves gathering views from a wide range of people.  For more information about this important research follow this link.
Time to Shine

We evaluated Scotland's national youth arts strategy, Time to Shine.  We spoke with teachers, arts tutors, young people and parents about the difference that youth arts activity is making in the lives of young people.  We also explored awareness of Time to Shine through a large scale online survey of arts and youth organisations across Scotland. Additionally, we undertook a mapping exercise to understand the spread of youth arts organisations across the country.

The evaluation report is available here.

National evaluations of the CashBack Programme

In both 2012 and 2016, we evaluated the CashBack for Communities programme. Katy, Nadia and Ann were involved in this work. The 2012 evaluation was a formative and process evaluation, while the 2016 evaluation was strongly outcome focused. Both evaluations were highly sensitive – politically and for funded organisations.

Katy also supported Inspiring Scotland and the Scottish Government with the development of a new logic model for Phase 4 of the CashBack for Communities fund, which is currently underway.
